Primark is currently stocking a pair of shoes that bear a remarkable resemblance to a designer version. The budget retailer, known for its affordable fashion and homeware, could have another must-have on its shelves.

The Spiral Diamante Heeled Sandals from Primark bear a striking resemblance to a design by high-end brand René Caovilla, but are available at a fraction of the cost. Customers can snap up the Primark pair for £22, while the luxury alternative comes in at £1,250 online.

Both designs boast identical soles and spiral straps, adorned with sparkling diamantes. Each also features twin straps across the front of the foot.

Nevertheless, there are notable distinctions between the two options. The designer footwear showcases black diamantes, whereas Primark’s version opts for silver. The pricier shoes also boast a taller heel, reports the Mirror.
