Michigan’s post-emo mainstays Hot Mulligan will return to Australia in April 2026 for The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still Australian Tour, following their sold-out debut run in 2024. Kicking off in Melbourne on April 22, the tour will see the band bring their high-energy, emotionally charged live show to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
Fresh off a whirlwind international run — including arena shows with Pierce The Veil, slots at Riot Fest, Slam Dunk, and an upcoming Coachella debut — Hot Mulligan’s return comes on the back of their acclaimed fourth album The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still (Wax Bodega/Civilians). The record, praised for its blend of hook-heavy songwriting and lyrical catharsis, cemented their place among the most respected bands in modern emo.
With upgraded venues expected again after their last sold-out tour, the Michigan five-piece promise a show that captures both the chaos and heart of their sound — from anthemic shouts to quiet moments of clarity.
Joining them on the tour will be fellow Michigan outfit saturdays at your place, making their Australian debut, and Forests from Singapore.
