The Horrors Announce First Australian Tour in Over a Decade for April 2026 – Backseat Mafia

by wellnessfitpro

After more than a decade away, The Horrors will return to Australian stages in April 2026 for a full national tour. The run marks their first headline shows here since 2012, when the band toured in support of Skying, and follows their acclaimed return earlier this year with exclusive performances at Dark Mofo and Melbourne’s Live at 3RRR.

The UK alternative icons — led by Faris Badwan and Rhys Webb — will bring their newly reimagined sound to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, performing tracks from their forthcoming album Night Lifealongside highlights from across their two-decade career.

Night Life captures the next phase of the band’s evolution. Recorded between London and Los Angeles with producer Yves Rothman (Yves TumorBlondshell), it’s a record steeped in atmosphere and reflection — a blend of melancholy and euphoria that returns to the band’s instinctive roots while pushing into fresh sonic territory.

Across twenty years and five acclaimed albums, The Horrors have consistently shifted shape — from the garage-goth charge of Strange House to the expansive textures of Skying and the industrial abrasion of 2021’s Lout and Against The Blade. Their upcoming Australian tour offers fans a rare chance to experience the band’s latest transformation up close, in what promises to be one of the year’s most anticipated alternative shows.

Tickets go on general sale Monday 3 November at 9am local time, with presale available from Friday 31 October at 9am local time. Go HERE for ticketing information.
