Three people were taken to hospital after Carbon Monoxide was detected at a property in Kilrea.
Emergency services recieved reports that a number people had taken unwell at a property in the Kurin Road area on Friday evening.
A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) spokesperson said: Following an initial call at 1924hrs on Friday 17th October 2025, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service attended reports of persons feeling unwell at a property on Kurin Road, Kilrea.

“Appliances from Maghera and Kilrea attended alongside 3 officers and colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
“Carbon Monoxide was identified within the property relating to a household appliance.
“Firefighters utilised breathing apparatus, gas monitors and ventilation fans to resolve the incident. 3 persons were conveyed to hospital.
“Crews left the incident at 2228hrs.”
