Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve figured out who will reveal Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield’s secret kiss.
Charity, portrayed by Emma Atkins, and Vanessa, played by Michelle Hardwick, first kindled a romance back in 2018. Their relationship experienced its fair share of turbulence, leading to their split in 2020.
Charity subsequently found love with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), whom she married, while Vanessa entered into a relationship with Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) until Suzy’s unexpected demise in a limousine crash earlier this year.

Recent episodes have seen Charity embroiled in drama as she agreed to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
Viewers will remember that Sarah was diagnosed with cancer this year, resulting in a hysterectomy. Unable to bear children herself, Charity stepped up to assist Sarah, reports the Daily Star.
Despite Mack’s reservations about his wife carrying Sarah’s baby, Vanessa has been a pillar of support for her ex-partner Charity.
However, the plot thickened this week when Charity began bleeding after a fall in the woods a few days prior. Fearing that the recent embryo transfer may not have been successful, an emotional Charity was left distraught.
In Thursday’s episode (August 7), following a heated argument with Mack, Charity sought solace in the pub where she drowned her sorrows. Vanessa was there to comfort her and attempted to sober her up.
Charity was taken back to Vanessa’s place in an attempt to sober up, where she confided in Vanessa about her struggles with Mack and the surrogacy situation. The episode concluded with Charity making a move on Vanessa, leading to a kiss between the two.
Emmerdale fans are now speculating that an affair might be brewing for Vanessa and Charity, and in an unexpected turn, many believe that it will be Charity’s sister Tracy, played by Amy Walsh, who will reveal their secret.
On an Emmerdale fan page on Facebook, speculation is rife, with one viewer commenting: “How predictable, we all saw Charity and Vanessa coming right?” Another added their hopes for a swift resolution: “Hopefully they don’t drag it out and they get found out soon.”
A third suggested: “I think Tracy might have heard them or seen them,” with another fan endorsing the theory: “Good idea.”
