Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know who will take over Moira Dingle’s farm as she hits financial difficulties
Emmerdale has aired a heartbreaking twist for Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) as she is set to lose her beloved Butlers Farm.
Last week on the ITV soap, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) arrived at Butlers Farm to propose the idea of the Tates buying Moira’s farm from her. The offer came at a time when Moira was feeling vulnerable, as she had just been told her appeal to the water company had been declined.
The bad news left Moira contemplating selling up and moving on. She would give Kim Tate (Claire King) the responsibility of looking after the business side of the farm but her family would still live in Butlers, and she’d still work as a farmer there.

But Moira was gobsmacked to learn that Joe had deliberately paid off Noel from the water company to turn down her appeal, and put her business at risk.
This sparked rage in Moira as she changed her mind on wanting to flog the farm, and it was clear a new feud between the Dingles and Tate’s has commenced.
On Wednesday (July 30), I received a devastating phone call informing me that a supermarket had canceled a supply deal.
The loss of business means Moira is now in even more financial difficulty as she blamed Joe for the situation.
Moira looked deflated as she told her husband, Cain (Jeff Hordley), that Kim would now get her hands on the land. Cain dismissed Moira’s comments and made it clear he would do anything to stop Kim from taking over the farm.
However, Emmerdale fans are convinced local farmer Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) will take over Butlers Farm following an earlier interaction.
In June 2025, newcomer Celia turned up at the premises to inquire about renting two neighbouring fields from Moira, but the farmer declined the business opportunity. Will Moira change her mind abut Celia’s offer?
Taking to X, one Emmerdale fan predicted: “Moira will end up selling the farm to the woman who looks like Rodney, just to get back at Kim and Joe. #Emmerdale.”
A second said: “That last scene in tonight’s #Emmerdale. Moira could lose Butlers Farm”, while a third pointed out: “I wonder if Celia is going to come back into this as she’s taken over the nearby farm close by as we haven’t really seen her since Paddy’s dog attack @emmerdale #Emmerdale.”
“Offer the farm to Kim or Celia – a bidding war with them two would be ace #Emmerdale”, urged one viewer.
“Maybe Moria invites her round to discuss Celia renting fields she wanted. Money for Moria and wind up Kim”, added another.
