Testeagles to tour Non Comprehendus for its 25th anniversary – Backseat Mafia

by wellnessfitpro

Testeagles will mark the 25th anniversary of their debut album Non Comprehendus with a national tour this October and November.

Formed in Adelaide in the late ’90s, the trio’s 2000 album blended heavy guitar riffs with electronic beats and samples, reaching number 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Singles such as “TTSU” received extensive play on triple j – with “TTSU” placing at 66 in the Hottest 100 of 1999 – while their videos became a fixture on music television. They toured nationally, including regular appearances at the Big Day Out, until 2005.

After disbanding, the group briefly reunited in 2008, but it wasn’t until a one-off performance at the Froth & Fury Festival in 2023 that they returned to the stage. The show, their first in 15 years, prompted strong audience demand for more dates.

This upcoming tour comes after bassist D’s recovery from significant health issues that once made a return to touring seem unlikely.

Melbourne three-piece Bushido, who have also recently reformed, will support on all dates except for the Gold Coast.
