Eamonn Holmes appeared “frail” as he needed “almost 10 minutes” to be helped into his car in central London.
The veteran Irish broadcaster, 65, was snapped on Friday (September 5) close to the back entrance of Selfridge’s department store, where he was aided into a waiting vehicle.
Pictures reveal Eamonn wearing a relaxed blue cardigan, being supported by another man whilst leaning on a walking aid.
His sluggish movements and clear dependence on help raised alarm amongst witnesses, with one observer describing the TV personality as “very old and frail.”
The eyewitness continued: “He looked like he was struggling and needed someone with him every step of the way. It took Eamonn about 10 minutes to get into the car with assistance.”

Eamonn has candidly fought health battles in recent years, including persistent back pain after slipped discs and continuing mobility difficulties which have frequently required him to use a stick or frame.
His health challenges have occasionally compelled him to withdraw from presenting responsibilities, though he has stayed a notable figure on television, reports the Daily Star.
Most recognised for his lengthy period co-presenting ITV’s This Morning with his now former wife Ruth Langsford, the Belfast-born host transferred to GB News in December 2021, where he leads the channel’s breakfast show.
In May 2024, Eamonn and Ruth announced the conclusion of their 14-year marriage, confirming their split in a joint statement.
Despite personal hurdles, he has remained in the public eye, often igniting speculation and worry about his wellbeing.
More recently, Eamonn has been romantically linked to relationship therapist Katie Alexander, 43. Rumours emerged during the summer suggesting the pair had become close, although neither has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship.
