Northern Ireland take on Germany this evening in their second 2026 World Cup qualifier
Northern Ireland’s kicked off their 2026 World Cup qualifying bid in perfect style with a 3-1 win over Luxembourg on Thursday night.
The Green and White Army are expecting a tougher test this evening as they face a Germany side still smarting from their defeat to Slovakia in their Group A opener.
With three points in the bag already the pressure is slightly off for Michael O’Neill’s men, but they would love to head home with more points in the bag.
The hosts have it all to do though as they cannot afford any more slip ups in their bid to qualify for next year’s finals.
