Police are continuing to question a 38-year-old man arrested after a petrol bomb was thrown into a Co Armagh pub on Monday night.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment after the incident at Toby Jug Bar in Armagh city. Bar patrons were also threatened with a knife as they fled the premises on Irish Street to escape the flames.
Police officers attended the scene at around 8.55pm and attended alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Two men, one aged in his 30s and one in his 60s, who were injured when the device was thrown, were treated at Craigavon Area Hospital for burn injuries however one man has since been discharged.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a blade or point in a public place and remained in custody on Tuesday afternoon.
He is also being questioned on suspicion of a number of counts of criminal damage in connection with reports of windows being smashed at homes on Keady Road and Cregagh Gardens earlier in the evening of Monday, 18 August.
Meanwhile The Toby Jug Bar has issued a statement this afternoon following last night’s events.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson said: “We are shocked and saddened by the events of last night when a petrol bomb was thrown into our premises. Two people were injured and taken to hospital, and our thoughts are first and foremost with them and their families.
“We are also mindful of the wider impact, with residents of Creagh Gardens and Corrigan’s Court also affected by these senseless acts. No one in our community should ever feel unsafe in their home or local area.
“We want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with messages of support and concern. Your kindness means a great deal to us during this difficult time.”
They added: “For now, The Toby Jug Bar will remain closed while we assess the damage and ensure safety for our customers and staff. However, our off sales, DrinkLink, will remain open as normal.”
“The Toby Jug Bar has always been, and will continue to be, a place for friends, neighbours, and the wider community to come together. We are working closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of everyone moving forward. Thank you again for your support.”
PSNI detectives are continuing to investigate and are keen to hear from witnesses and those with information or any footage captured in the area between 7pm and 9pm. They can be contacted by calling 101, quoting reference 1862 18/08/25.
