EastEnders viewers were left heartbroken as Eve Unwin walked out on wife Suki Panesar after the truth about the baby plan was exposed and the entire family turned on Suki
EastEnders viewers were left heartbroken as Eve Unwin, portrayed by Heather Peace, decided to leave her wife Suki Panesar, played by Balvinder Sopal, resulting in an emotional farewell.
In recent episodes of the popular BBC soap, Suki had been encouraging young Avani to continue with her pregnancy, intending to raise the child alongside Eve.
The unexpected pregnancy news was kept hidden from Avani’s parents and rebellious teenager Joel Marshall, portrayed by Max Murray, who is the baby’s father.
However, following an abortion, Avani confessed everything to her parents Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and Priya (Sophie Khan Levy), causing them to react with anger.

On Wednesday (August 13), chaos ensued as Suki faced the backlash of her family when secrets began to surface. Priya explained the situation to Vinny (Shiv Jalota) and Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), expressing disappointment that her daughter hadn’t confided in her about the pregnancy, reports Plymouth Live.
The situation took a turn for the worse when Avani disclosed that Suki had suggested they wait for the right moment to inform the family – leading Priya to realise that Suki intended to delay until it was too late for an abortion.
As tensions rose, Priya slapped Suki and Ravi likened her actions to those of the villainous Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) towards his own family.
Eve defended Suki amidst the conflict, but once they were alone, she implored her wife to stop deceiving her and managed to get Suki to confess that she would have prevented the termination if she had known.
In a later scene, Eve, Vinny, and Nugget gather their belongings and the entire family departs from the house.
An emotional Suki pleads with Eve not to abandon her, but Eve decides she needs some distance, hurt by the deceit and manipulation surrounding the baby plan.
EastEnders enthusiasts are now hoping this isn’t the final chapter for Suki and Eve, considering they only tied the knot in January.
One viewer took to social media, posting: “#EastEnders Omg this can’t be the end of Eve and Suki. So sad if it is.”
Another declared: “I refuse to believe that Eve would leave Suki, even after all that #EastEnders #Sukeve.”
A third added: “Eve’s got her suitcases packed and left #EastEnders.
“I don’t blame Eve for walking out!”, one fan commented. “#EastEnders well everyone is leaving Suki”, another observed.
