Police have issued an appeal after a cyclist sustained ‘serious injuries’ in a reported ‘hit and run’ collision in Co Down.
According to the PSNI, the cyclist was ‘knocked off his bicycle after a red coloured Vauxhall Corsa collided with their bicycle’.
It’s reported to have happened near to the junction of the Edentrillick Road with the Ballynahinch Road in Dromore on Monday, July 28, at around 7pm.

.In a social media post, Police Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon added: “As a result the cyclist has sustained serious injuries and Police are asking for assistance to help with our enquiries to identify and speak with the driver of the Corsa.
“Police are appealing for any persons with any information, who may have seen this or have dash cam footage available to contact Police quoting reference number: 1543 of the 28/07/25.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on: 0800 555 111.”
