EastEnders fans are convinced they know who Nicola Mitchell’s new boyfriend will be after she shared a steamy scene with one Walford resident in Wednesday’s episode
EastEnders has unveiled an unexpected romantic spark between two Walford locals, all thanks to Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) who finds himself entangled in drug dealings with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
In Wednesday’s visit to Walford (July 30), mechanic Harry was compelled to allow Ravi’s associate Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) to conduct his shady operations in Kojo Asare’s (Dayo Koleosho) flat, while George Knight (Colin Salmon) was still lingering.
Although George was set to move in with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), the newly divorced man hadn’t yet left the property, leaving flatmate Harry anxious and eager to divert his attention.
Harry then texted his mum, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), suggesting he might consider extending an olive branch if she did him a favour, and she leapt at the opportunity to please her son.

Harry informed George that Nicola was seeking a bar manager at Harry’s Barn, prompting George to leave for an interview, allowing Harry to let Okie in alone, reports OK!.
In her office, Nicola clarified to ex-boxer George that she was actually in need of a bouncer, not a bar manager, which left him uninterested.
However, Harry requested Nicola to keep George occupied while they carried out their illicit activities in Kojo’s flat, and she immediately turned on the charm.
Nicola emphasised that she wanted a level-headed man for the job, not a thug, and the pair soon began chatting as sparks started to fly.
By the time Harry signalled that the coast was clear, Nicola was already in a passionate embrace with George, completely ignoring the text as they seemed to be taking their relationship up a notch.
Despite Nicola’s steamy encounter with George, some EastEnders fans are predicting she’ll set her sights on Max Branning (James Wood) when he makes his anticipated return, leaving poor George out in the cold.
One viewer took to X and shared: “#EastEnders are succeeding in actually making me like George and Nicola together. I still think she’ll be more suited to Max but I love this side of Nicola so I’ll take this scene nevertheless.”
Another fan commented: “If Max isn’t coming back with Dame Vanessa Bubbly Gold, I really thought him and Nicola would be an irresistible pairing. Not that our Max would let a little issue like George get in the way #EastEnders.”
