Emergency services were in attendance tonight at an incident in the Ligoniel area of North Belfast.

It’s understood the PSNI, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and the Fire Service were at the scene for several hours on the Wolfhill Link estate on Monday night, September 8.

Local sources at the scene said an individual had fallen from a height of 20-foot and that due to the location of the accident, extraction of the injured person proved difficult.

The Northern Ireland Air Ambulance was also called to assist. It’s believed a young man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not known at this time.
