Liam Neeson’s son on his dad’s ‘beautiful chemistry’ with Pamela Anderson

Daniel chatted after reports the two are dating

Liam Neeson’s son, Daniel Neeson, has told of the “beautiful chemistry” his father shares with Pamela Anderson.

Liam and Pamela sparked romantic rumours from their onscreen and offscreen connection whilst promoting The Naked Gun. The duo portray romantic leads in The Naked Gun.

The Ballymena man takes on the role of Detective Frank Drebin Jr. whilst Pamela plays “femme fatale” Beth Davenport.

PEOPLE reported on July 29 that the two stars were dating, according to a source, reports the Irish Star.

The source, who is supposedly close to the film, said, “It’s a budding romance in the early stages. It’s sincere, and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.” They also added, at the time, that Liam and Pamela are currently “enjoying each other’s company,” as they promote the rebooted comedy.

Neither Liam nor Pamela have confirmed or denied the dating rumours.

The Irish Star spoke with Daniel, who co-owns a tequila brand alongside Adam Millman. The tequila brand is named De Nada, and Liam has been spotted sporting a shirt repping the enterprise during The Naked Gun publicity tour.

Daniel spoke to The Irish Star U.S. about the chemistry and friendship between his father and The Last Showgirl star.

“They have shared really beautiful chemistry on screen, as you can see. They really, really admire each other, especially from their working experience, and you can see that on the screen. I mean. It’s amazing when you can get a connection that is seamless. It’s. [like] you’re not trying too hard. And they’re really, really fond of each other. They really admire each other, and they’re really, really good friends,” Daniel said.

“I’m happy that they’ve been able to kind of maintain that relationship, post production and stuff like that,” the 28 year old said, noting that over recent months he and Adam have been swamped with work commitments, meaning he hasn’t seen his dad as frequently as normal, particularly with the Taken star’s Naked Gun promotional tour.

“But I’m just happy that they’re, they’re really good friends, and that they share a fondness for each other, which is, which is, for me, very, very happy to see, because you just want your your parents happy, you know, well, for my case, my father happy,” he added.

Daniel is the son of Liam Neeson and the late Natasha Richardson, who died tragically after a skiing incident in March 2009.

Liam and Natasha were wed for 15 years, from 1994 until the Parent Trap star’s death.

The pair welcomed him on August 28, 1996, and also have another son, Micheál Richardson.

Micheál is an actor like his parents and was born on June 22, 1995.
