EastEnders’ beloved character George Knight, played by Colin Salmon, has been left in shock after discovering his younger brother Kojo Asare, portrayed by Dayo Koleosho, was given drugs.

George found Kojo sprawled on a bench after the notorious drug dealer Tobias ‘Okie’ Okyere, played by Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu, had given him a pill to “calm down”.

Despite Kojo keeping mum about the source of the pill, George was convinced that Harry Mitchell, played by Elijah Holloway, was responsible and stormed over to Harry’s Barn to confront him.

The confrontation escalated into violence, with the boxer choking Nicola Mitchell’s son, a character played by Laura Doddington, leaving him gasping for breath.

An enraged Harry later confronted Okie, berating him for supplying the pills to Kojo, but it was Okie who lost his cool in subsequent scenes – as he enquired about George’s residence. Naturally, Harry kept quiet, reports the Daily Star.

“You don’t know what I’m capable off!” Okie declared. “So if this Kojo’s brother’s going to become a problem, we’re going to have to make him disappear,” he threatened, revealing a gun tucked under his belt. Could this spell the end for George?

As George sought advice from local policeman Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen, after Kojo’s pill incident, some EastEnders fans were distracted by the noticeable height difference between the two men.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: “Is Jack really small or George really tall? #EastEnders.”
