Woman stays at luxury Ibiza adults-only hotel and gives word of warning to others

Hotels are a popular accommodation choice for travellers on holiday, but one woman who stayed at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel shared something guests might not be aware of

Summer marks the season when countless people go on holidays or attend music festivals. A favoured destination for adults is Ibiza, celebrated for its electric nightlife, premier clubs and DJs, alongside pristine beaches boasting crystal-clear waters.

The Spanish island boasts a thriving party atmosphere, drawing celebrities and music fans alike. Ibiza offers diverse accommodation options to cater for varying preferences and budgets, from luxury resorts to budget-friendly hotels and private villas. Louise, a London resident with an eye for unique experiences, chose The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, which holds a five-star rating and is recognised for providing luxury and VIP treatment whilst granting guests complete access to the renowned Ushuaïa club with their reservation.

Following her hotel check-in, Louise posted a TikTok video offering viewers a glimpse of her accommodation.

As she entered, she was pleased to discover her luggage had already been delivered to her room, and she noticed some complimentary treats on the bed, mentioning she was visiting Ibiza to dine at Gordon Ramsay’s new Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, which launched at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel.

The travel fan then saw a minibar stocked with several alcoholic drinks, but after considering the potential costs, she declared she would “not be touching” them.

Then, Louise explored the “massive” balcony offering stunning coastal views before discovering some “nice” bathrobes in the wardrobe.

After this, she moved onto the bathroom, revealing its contents and saying: “Okay, this is our bathroom. Clarins products, [I] like that. Sink, toilet, it’s all very sexy, very dark.”

The tourist then highlighted a potential pitfall for some guests: “Okay, they have got a lot of things in this hotel that look like they’re complimentary amenities that actually aren’t, you have to pay for them.”

Louise added: “They put things around the room and you can open it if you want to and use it but then you’ve got to pay for it, [I] don’t know how I feel about that.”

As she continued to explore the room, she noticed a box of “premium” adult toys next to the bed, which she found “hilarious”, joking that she wouldn’t be needing them.

The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel is exclusively for adults, meaning all guests must be at least 18-years-old to stay there.

It’s situated in Playa d’en Bossa, considered the most popular resort on Ibiza, boasting the island’s longest beach, and home to the Ushuaïa and Hi Ibiza clubs.

Guests staying at this luxury hotel can indulge in fine dining, with options like caviar and champagne, and a rooftop bar offering signature cocktails.

Louise’s TikTok video has attracted more than 7,000 views and numerous comments.

One viewer confessed that they would have assumed the Clarins products were complimentary, commenting: “Oh God my dumb a$$$ would fall for the Clarins bag as a freebie and brought it home for my mum and cry about it later.”
