I’m A Celebrity has hinted at a jungle romance as one star made a “soft spot” confession.

The popular ITV show made its return last weekend, with ten fresh faces preparing to tackle their fears in the Australian wilderness.

This year’s line-up features Ruby Wax, Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook, Aitch, Alex Scott, Angry Ginge, Shona McGarty, Jack Osbourne and Lisa Riley.

The celebrities have adapted to jungle living relatively smoothly thus far, though latecomers Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson appear to have disrupted the equilibrium after being appointed Chief Explorers on Thursday (November 20).

The pair were granted exclusive perks, including accommodation in a luxurious Treehouse complete with comfortable beds, seating and a communication system. Vogue and Tom were also tasked with delegating responsibilities to their fellow contestants, reports the Express.

Yet, the power shift hasn’t been universally welcomed, with Jack acknowledging he felt “resistance” towards the new arrivals. And it appears that may not be the sole dynamic alteration, as a romantic connection could be developing.

During Friday’s (November 21) instalment, the group were on their finest form as they attempted to earn badges from Vogue and Tom.

Kelly informed Vogue that she’d forgone her morning jungle shower to tend to the rice, having been designated camp cook.

Meanwhile, the remaining campmates kept themselves occupied by tidying and improving the camp to compete for a prized badge that day, with Aitch gathering firewood, whilst Shona and Jack embraced toilet maintenance duties.

Ginge and Aitch later took a moment to themselves by the creek, where Aitch made a surprising confession to his friend.

“I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me,” he confessed.

Ginge responded: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean yeah.”

Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean,” with Ginge concurring: “Yeah she is.”

Could there be a spark between Aitch and the newly-single Shona? Only time will tell.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Jack and Alex faced the latest Bushtucker trial, Dreaded Dunnies. Chief Explorers Vogue and Tom were also given the power to select two more celebrities to join them in the trial. They ultimately chose Martin and Shona as they hadn’t participated in one yet.
