Sophie Ellis-Bextor is set to return to Australia in February 2026, bringing her mix of disco-pop classics and fresh material to Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
The British singer-songwriter, who first broke through in the early 2000s with “Murder on the Dancefloor” and “Take Me Home”, arrives with her new album Perimenopop — a playful reflection on her decades-long love affair with pop music. Released last week, the record includes the singles “Taste” and “Dolce Vita”, and showcases an artist celebrating empowerment and self-assurance.
With a career spanning seven studio albums and appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude and Splendour In The Grass, Ellis-Bextor has long been recognised for her euphoric live shows. Her 2023 resurgence, sparked by the inclusion of “Murder on the Dancefloor” in cult film Saltburn, has brought her music to an entirely new generation.
Joining her on the Australian run is Holiday Sidewinder, who will bring her synth-driven pop to all dates except Perth.
