High Street was closed for some time
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with injuries police are describing as “serious” after he was struck by a van.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the collision involving a pedestrian and a van in the High Street area of Bangor shortly before 4.40pm yesterday, Thursday, September 11.
Officers attended, along with colleagues from other emergency services, and one man, aged in his 20s was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. High Street was closed for some time, but has since reopened.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including dashcam or other video footage, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1057 of 11/9/25.
