The Countdown is on for the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon, Sunday 21st September 2025
Thousands of runners are set to hit the streets of Belfast as the Moy Park Belfast City Half Marathon returns on Sunday, September 21st, 2025.
The event will once again kick off on the Ormeau Embankment, where participants will begin their 13.1-mile journey through all four areas of the city, South, East, North and West Belfast. The route offers a mix of city landmarks, lively neighbourhoods, and plenty of cheering crowds to keep spirits high.
Ahead of race day, runners will head to the Half Marathon Expo & Pack Collection on Saturday, September 20th. The Expo is a highlight in itself, giving participants the chance to pick up their race packs while browsing a wide range of vendor stalls and sponsor activations. It is the perfect warm-up for the big day.
The Half Marathon has grown to become the biggest race of its kind in Northern Ireland, with demand for places stronger than ever as entries sell out year after year.
The official route map has now been released, featuring a few small adjustments from last year’s course. Runners can familiarise themselves with the updated layout, while spectators can plan the best spots to catch the action and cheer on the participants.
