Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know what happens to the newly married couple after John threw them both off a cliff
Emmerdale has unveiled a shocking twist for Aaron Dingle (portrayed by Danny Miller) after his husband John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) pulled them both over a cliff, leaving the couple’s fate uncertain.
During last week’s dramatic visit to the village, Aaron finally saw John’s true colours when he discovered Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) mobile in John’s possession. Wicked John has been holding Mack hostage since he shot him with a bow and arrow nearly three weeks ago.
On Monday (8th September), Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) sensed something was amiss with his half-brother John and set out to find his ex-husband Aaron. Meanwhile, at John’s country cottage, Aaron played along with his caring act, before making his escape to look for Mack.

Soon enough, Robert found John in the woods, and a physical fight ensued, leaving Robert unconscious on the ground.
John checked that Robert was still alive as he fled the scene to find Aaron as the pair reunited near the edge of a gorge, reports the Daily Star.
In a gripping scene, Aaron, who had been drugged by John, recalled the hatch he had found in the woods and confirmed he had heard Mack’s voice as he confronted John over his actions.
The mechanic desperately pleaded to know what he had done to Mack as Robert made a surprise arrival on the scene.
But Robert’s presence overwhelmed John as Aaron tried to keep calm and encourage John to confess his crimes to the police, including the murder of Nate Robinson.
Despite all efforts, John called the police to frame Robert, then dragged Aaron over a cliff edge with him, leaving Robert in a state of panic as he shouted Aaron’s name.
Emmerdale viewers are now speculating about who survived the dramatic fall, with many suggesting that Aaron may have landed on John, killing him instantly.
However, they also predict that Aaron will fall into a coma and be unable to tell the police what really happened, leaving Robert as the prime suspect.
One Emmerdale enthusiast posted on X: “Well I guess Aaron will be okay cos John broke his fall.”
