Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz, appeared on a repeat episode of Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend on Sunday, where they opened up about their family life
Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and his wife, Liz, were guests on a rerun of Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend on Sunday.
The couple, who have four children together, discussed the ups and downs of farming life and how it has been a “big change” for their family.
During the conversation, Liz made a playful revelation about their family size after host Alan joked about Kelvin’s dancing skills on Strictly Come Dancing.
After showing a clip of Kelvin’s performance on Strictly, Alan asked Liz, “What was your reaction when you saw that performance, as it were, with it being quite sensuous?”
“I was not ready to see that, I was like, the hips don’t lie,” Liz chuckled. “He told me he couldn’t dance, and the whole family, everyone was in shock, we couldn’t believe what we witnessed,” reports the Daily Star.

“We still watch it back now,” Liz added, with Alan interjecting, “You must be very proud of him, he’s a good mover.”
“That’s why we’ve got four kids, Alan,” Liz quipped, leading Alan to respond, “Let’s move swiftly on.”
Later in the conversation, Alan asked Liz and Kelvin about their children and how working on the farm impacts them.
Liz explained, “So we’ve got Marnie, who’s seven now, Milo four, and the twins are one, so they’re walking, talking.
“The farm is just becoming chaos. We always said we’d have this clean, you know, calm farm, and it’s the absolute opposite. The kids are everywhere, the animals are everywhere.”
The pair went on to reveal how their eldest daughter has developed a passion for farming, proving herself to be a real “helping hand” around their property.
Liz continued, “She’s really taken to it and is showing so much potential to be an amazing shepherdess. But the twins, on the other hand, are just like the most dangerous.
“They’re picking things up that are dangerous. They’re licking everything; they can’t be around. They have got to be strapped in the pram.”
Following a clip featuring their daughter, Marnie, discussing farming life, Liz acknowledged it represented a “big change” for her.
“Sometimes she tells us what we’re doing, and she’s so strong, and we’re so proud of her, because this was a big change for her from just moving to a big farm,” the mother of four revealed.
“It’s a lot to take in as a child, and she’s really taken on those responsibilities and wants to be stuck in there with us.”
Kelvin added, “I can’t help but feel an immense sense of pride because the life that she’s currently living, and it’s a real representation of life, you know, to understand the animals, and you kind of rear those animals, and it’s just great.”
