North Belfast creeper-style burglary sees car stolen from outside house

Police have issued an appeal for information and witnesses

A car was stolen from outside a house in North Belfast during a creeper-style burglary, police say.

It was reported that sometime between Tuesday, August 26 and Monday, September 1, entry was gained to a house in the Brookvale Avenue area. It was also reported that a car, a blue Honda CRV Sport, was stolen from outside the property.

Police have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the creeper-style burglary.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner said: “It was reported that sometime between Tuesday 26th August and yesterday, Monday 1st September, entry was gained to a house in the Brookvale Avenue area.

“It was reported that a blue Honda CRV Sport was stolen from outside the property.

“Enquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle and we are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area during the time-frame of this report, and noticed any suspicious behaviour, to make contact with police on 101, quoting reference number 1100 of 01/09/25.

“We are also interested in any dashcam, CCTV or other video footage that may be of assistance.”
