On Monday’s episode of Emmerdale, ITV viewers saw John Sugden and Aaron Dingle continue their holiday in the woods.
It looks as though Emmerdale fans were left less than impressed during Monday’s episode of the ITV show.
During the latest instalment, which recently saw fans thinking two village residents could team up to take down an iconic Dales villain, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was still on his holiday with husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Recently, John took matters into his own hands and struck Mackenzie Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) down with a bow and arrow after chasing him through the woods.
Although it initially seemed that Mack had gotten away, he was later found and had a rock dropped on him, with many now fearing the village resident has been killed.
However, it was John’s actions on Monday night which sparked outrage with fans. At the start of the episode, people saw the soap villain in the woods with his bow and arrow, aiming it at a herd of deer.

As he made a noise, the animals all ran away, with John not taking aim at any of them. Although that later changed after having a conversation with his husband, asking if he’s considered weak.
With Aaron assuring John that he’s ‘one of the strongest people’ he knows, the next time he went out hunting, he didn’t hesitate to strike down the deer.
Although the actual fatal shot wasn’t shown, it was implied that he had killed the creature as the camera shook to imitate a fall, and John put down his bow with a smug smile on his face.
However, it wasn’t long before people watching took to X to air their frustrations at the scenes, with many seething at his actions.
One person commented: “Ofcom are about to have a lot of complaints.” Another added: “No way has John killed a deer that’s sick!!!
Someone else wrote: “I think Ofcom might have a few complaints from John killing a dear!” While one person shared: “Now he’s killing deer he’s got to go.”
Another viewer commented: “Letter to Ofcom on its way” While someone else shared: “Did we really need part-time Robin Hood pointing an arrow at a herd of deer? That’s just sick.”
Although Mack is believed to be dead, many viewers believe he’s still alive and is being held captive.
With John now capable of killing the deer, will he finish off Mack once and for all if he is alive?
