As someone with sensitive skin, it can be really challenging to find potent anti-aging products that don’t cause irritation. I’ve struggled with rosacea flare ups and eczema on top of the usual aging-skin suspects that creep up, like dullness and wrinkles. As a shopping editor, I came across Peach & Lily, a clean, K-beauty brand that Kourtney Kardashian is a fan of and was intrigued by their latest product drop: the Peach & Lily MiniProtein Exosome Bioactive Ampoule ($53). Wanting a product that could soothe and hydrate my skin while also helping to reverse signs of aging, I decided to give Peach & Lily’s new serum a try. With their sale approaching — 20 percent off sitewide from August 30 to September 1 — I figured this was the perfect time to decide whether or not to restock.

What I Like About the Peach & Lily MiniProtein Exosome Bioactive Ampoule

This formula feels creamy and incredibly moisturizing without being greasy. In fact, it feels so hydrating that I’m sometimes tempted to just skip the moisturizing step afterwards. I began using it during a rosacea flare up (what better time to really put a product to the test?!), hoping it would have a calming effect. I had a circle of red, irritated skin around my mouth that was dotted with small bumps, some of which were whiteheads. I was also noticing a lot of dryness in the area, with patches that had a leathery texture. Within a few days of using the product twice a day, the area almost entirely cleared up. The texture became even, soft, and moisturized and the bumps and leathery patches fully disappeared around day six. Aside from it getting me through a skin crises, it’s also left my skin looking brighter, tighter, and more nourished. Since it had such a huge short-term impact on my irritated skin, I’m looking forward to the longer-term anti-aging effects.

How to Use the Peach & Lily MiniProtein Exosome Bioactive Ampoule

This product should be applied onto clean, dry skin after cleansing. Even though it leaves your skin feeling hydrated, it’s best to follow up with a moisturizer to enjoy its full potential. You can use it daily as part of your morning and evening routine.

What to Consider Before Trying the Peach & Lily MiniProtein Exosome Bioactive Ampoule

This skincare line is surprisingly affordable considering how effective it is and that it uses high-quality ingredients. The MiniProtein Exosome Bioactive Ampoule is on the higher side of the line’s products, compared to their bestselling Glass Skin Refining Serum, for example, but I think it’s worth every penny for the incredible results it gives. If you tack on an additional 20 percent off during the sale, it’s an absolute steal. You can even jump on the sale early starting on August 29 with the code LDWVIP.
