A soap icon left fans gobsmacked as she showed off in a pair of denim shorts
Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard has stunned fans by revealing a massive leg tattoo while sporting a pair of tiny denim shorts.
The actress, who became a household name in the ’80s playing Liz McDonald on the ITV soap, was a regular on the cobbles from 1989 for 30 years. Her character Liz was involved in numerous dramatic storylines, from steamy affairs to fiery disputes.
However, in 2019, she left her fans devastated when she announced her departure from the show. She bid farewell to the soap a year later.

Since then, Beverley has kept herself busy with various projects. In 2020, she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and also bagged a spin-off travel show with her IAC co-star Jordan North, reports the Daily Star.
Recently, she took to social media to showcase her large tattoo on her leg while posing in a pair of tiny denim shorts in her kitchen.
The actress looked fabulous in the thigh-skimming shorts and a white top, her famous blonde hair styled in loose curls.
Beverley proudly displayed her impressive tattoo, which features pink, blue and red floral designs and stretches from her right knee to her ankle.
In 2023, Beverley revealed the true reason behind her departure from Coronation Street in 2020. During an appearance on Loose Women, she explained: “I just felt that the scripts weren’t what they used to be. I’m trying to be diplomatic.I wasn’t miserable, it’s difficult to put into words.
“But years ago, we used to get the script and you’d think ‘Oh my God, this is amazing, I cannot believe I’m going to be filming this!’
“But for me it got to, well, they didn’t write for me as much because I was older and that really got to me.”
