I’m A Celebrity fans have called out Jack Osbourne

Viewers of I’m A Celebrity have slammed Jack Osbourne following his conduct in the jungle.

The ITV programme made its return on Wednesday evening (3 December), with Jack tackling the newest Bushtucker Trial after his campmates selected him for the challenge. In the trial, dubbed Dangerous Discoveries, Jack found himself positioned at the heart of an archaeological dig, tasked with uncovering some ancient stars.

Laid flat on his back, Jack was given a ten-minute window to locate eight stars by plunging his hands into “hell holes” harbouring various jungle creatures, including snakes, toads, lizards, small crocodiles and spiders.

Despite finding it tougher than his previous trials, Jack successfully retrieved seven of the eight stars. He exclaimed: “Very happy with that!”, reports the Express.

Upon returning to camp, Jack played down his performance, suggesting he’d fared poorly. He remarked: “I f****d it. Honestly it was horrible. I got so overwhelmed and frustrated.”

But when pressed about his star count, Jack swiftly dropped the act and disclosed the positive result of seven stars, prompting jubilation from his fellow contestants.

Yet Jack’s little ‘prank’ has sparked fury amongst viewers, particularly given that he’d previously criticised Angry Ginge for pulling an identical stunt following a Bushtucker Trial just last week.

On X, one irate viewer vented: “Jack pretending the trial went s*** after having a go at Ginge for doing it has wound me up tonight.” Another viewer chimed in: “Jack Osbourne doing exactly what he had a go at Ginge for last week by making out he made an a*** of the trial. What a hypocrite he is.”

A third wrote: “Don’t know if I can trust Jack now after joking about the trial. It was unnecessary tbh.” Another fan expressed their frustration: “Jack coming into camp pretending he f***** the trial when he made a fuss about Ginge doing it P*** OFF.”

As the episode progressed, it was unveiled that comedy icon Ruby Wax was the most recent celebrity to be voted off the show.

During her departure interview, Ruby confessed she had managed to “totally forget” there was life outside of camp, referring to her fellow contestants as her “family”.

“I totally forgot the outside world, we were very bonded. They were friendly and I am sad I have lost them….I was their Queen, how could I be abducted. I can’t believe I have been voted out,” she shared.

I’m A Celebrity continues every night at 9pm on ITV1.
