Lego sets perfect for Christmas gifting slashed by £100 in Very’s Black Friday sale

Very’s mega Black Friday sale is live now, and the online store is offering a huge discount on Lego sets from Harry Potter, Star Wars and F1

Very is one of the retailers kicking off the Black Friday festivities early, offering massive savings on a range of items including clothing, beauty products, tech, homeware and more. Among the standout deals are a selection of Lego sets that would make perfect Christmas presents.

If you know someone who’s mad about Lego, or if you fancy treating yourself to a new set to assemble over the holiday season, you’ll want to take a look at Very’s fantastic deals. The sets with the biggest markdown are the McLaren P1 Car and the Ferrari Daytona SP3.

Originally retailing at £389.99, Very is slashing a whopping £98 off the sports cars, reducing the price to just £289.99. Aimed at adults, the 3,893-piece McLaren set lets you construct and admire the iconic supercar, complete with authentic details such as the V8 engine with moving pistons, 7-speed gearbox with its shifter drum and the suspension butterfly opening doors.

Meanwhile, the 3,778-piece Ferrari model, which comes in classic red, is a replica of the real supercar. Just like the original supercar, this collectible Ferrari model features opening butterfly doors.

Designed for those aged seven and up, it has a £70 discount in Very’s Black Friday sale, bringing the price down from £179.99 to £109.00. The Dark Falcon set has a saving of £60, with it now being priced at £99.99, down from £159.99. It’s made up of 1,579 pieces and includes six mini-figures as you’ve never seen them before – including Darth Jar Jar. Meanwhile, adult fans can channel their Jedi-like focus and mindfulness to recreate authentic details of the Millennium Falcon, as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. The 921-piece set “offers a complex creative building challenge” and is now reduced from £74.99 to £53.99.

Fans of Super Mario will be delighted to see the Mario & Standard Kart Set has been discounted by £25 and is now £124.99 (RRP £149.99). The 1,972-piece set features a buildable Mario figure with a posable head and arms, sitting behind the wheel of the most iconic Mario Kart vehicle of all.

Potterheads haven’t been left out either, with Very offering the stunning Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set for adults at its lowest ever price of £109.99 (RRP £149.99). The set allows you to construct the Main Tower, Astronomy Tower, Great Hall and Boathouse, plus the courtyards, greenhouses, paths, bridges, and the Black Lake.

For those who are mad about Disney, there are several sets on offer. The Stitch 730-piece set features the incorrigible extraterrestrial from the hit Disney film, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt, has movable ears and a turning head, a buildable ice-cream cone that the Disney character can hold and a buildable flower that can be added or removed.

This Disney building toy, now £39.99 (RRP £59.99) looks great on display as a kids’ bedroom decoration and makes a fun Disney gift for kids aged 9 and above.
