A fabulous free family event taking place this festive season
Lisburn is set to be illuminated with Christmas magic with a special event kicking off later this week.
The Lisburn Light Trail returns to Castle Gardens this Friday, November 21, and runs until Monday, December 22 – bringing festive spirit to the area right up until Santa’s arrival.
The completely free trail runs from 4pm to 8:30pm each evening and includes a mini Christmas Market and Santa’s Grotto.

The website reads: “Step into a world of pure festive magic this Christmas as our renowned Christmas Light Trail make a grand return to Castle Gardens. Come along and take in the wonderful sights of the light show and visit the mini Christmas Market.
“Visit Santa’s Grotto every Wednesday to Saturday (4.00pm-8.30pm, last entry 8.00pm). We will have a BSL Sign Language Interpreter in Santa’s Grotto every Thursday throughout December.
“We’ll have festive live music on stage every Wednesday to Saturday (4.00pm-8.30pm, last entry 8.00pm). Grab a bite to eat at our Mini Festive Food Village every day from 4.00pm to 8.30pm.
“There’s fun for all ages with Fun Fair Rides open from 4.00pm to 8.30pm .”
