A male was seen allegedly riding an E-Scooter dangerously in the Sandy Row area
A man is due to appear in court charged with driving an E-Scooter dangerously along with having no insurance.
Police saw a male riding an E-Scooter in the Sandy Row area on Tuesday, November 18, who then allegedly made off from police in a dangerous manner, running a red light and colliding with a vehicle.
Following this a male was arrested by police who discovered cannabis after searching him. The E-Scooter was also seized by officers.

The male is now due to appear in court charged with a number of offences which include possession of class B controlled substance, dangerous driving, no insurance and various related traffic offences.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “On Tuesday the 18th of November we observed a male driving on E-Scooter in the area of Sandy Row. This male has then decided to make off from police in a dangerous manner. He then breached a red light and collided with a vehicle. We detained this male, seized his scooter, and a search of the male conducted with Cannabis located on his person. “The male will now have to explain his actions in front of a judge in relation to possession of class B controlled substance, dangerous driving, no insurance and various related traffic offences.”
