Tributes have flooded in for Dylan following his tragic death, with popular content creator Sammy TV sharing a touching story of working on a video about cars with Dylan this summer, describing how he was a ‘genuine, down-to-earth, hard-working, gentle, and smart’ young man, reports the Irish Mirror.
“I wanted to make this video because one of the young men, Dylan Commins, I was lucky enough to have had an encounter with him this summer,” she said in a video on TikTok. “And I suppose I wanted to let people who don’t know Dylan, what sort of a young man he was.
“I wasn’t long on my own as Sammy TV and I was asked to do a promotional video for King of the Cone. I agreed to do this video, but knew I had access to modified cars, so a mutual friend put me in contact with Dylan. I went to his house that evening.
“Upon meeting him I was straight away struck by what a level headed gentle guy he was. We chatted a bit about different cars he’d worked on and it was obvious that this was a young man, 23 years old, with his head screwed on, a hard worker, and with a real passion for cars.
“Myself and Dylan went to a nearby, you could say viewpoint, where we wanted to film this video. Now I had half an idea of what I wanted to do, and Dylan was coming up with different ideas, contributing to the video and I remember thinking, he’s actually very creative.”
She continued: “If I was to describe him, it would be genuine, down to earth, hard working, gentle, smart, actually extremely smart and business minded. And that video that we recorded that day got over a million views on Instagram. So it just shows that Dylan wasn’t just making an impression on me, it was everyone really.
“Dylan, you’re a young man gone too soon. You were an absolute gentleman, rest in peace.”
Another tribute on RIP.ie read: “Ah Denise, Commo and your beautiful girls, there are no words in our vocabulary to express my sympathy to you on Dylan’s passing. Feed your minds with your wonderful memories of him. May he rest in peace.”
Another person commented: “May Dylan Rest In Eternal Peace, such a beautiful young chap, there are no words for what has happened to Dylan and all his friends. My family’s thoughts and prayers are with you all.”
