Man ‘seriously injured’ after being attacked by five teens

A man was ‘seriously injured’ after he was attacked by five teenagers, the PSNI has said.

In an appeal issued through Police Mid and East Antrim’s social media page on Facebook, a spokesperson appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened on Sunday September 28. The appeal appeared on the Facebook page yesterday, November 13.

The statement read: “Police in Larne are appealing for information in relation to a robbery where the victim has been seriously injured.

“This occurred on Sunday 28th September 2025 on the Ballycraigy Road, Larne between the hours of 11pm and just after midnight.

“The victim has been walking on the Ballycraigy Road towards Craigyhill when he was attacked by four males and one female aged between 15 and 18 years old. During this attack a sum of cash was taken.

“Officers investigating this robbery are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 401 of the 10/10/25.”
