Emmerdale fans are convinced that newcomer Kev Townsend will be murdered and they have ‘worked out’ who his killer will be
Emmerdale fans have speculated who will be responsible for the demise of Kev Townsend, and it’s not Aaron Dingle.
Kev (Chris Coghill), a newcomer to the ITV soap, arrived in the Dales this year after serving a lengthy prison sentence for bank robbery.
It was later revealed that Kev had wed Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) while incarcerated. Unaware at the time that Kev would ever be released, Robert had initiated a romance with him as a survival strategy in prison.
Now enjoying his freedom, Kev is hopeful of a blissful married life with Robert in the village, much to the dismay of Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Aaron and Kev have had numerous confrontations, but things took a dark turn this week when Kev threatened to kill Aaron if he interfered in his relationship with Robert, reports the Daily Star.
In Tuesday’s episode (October 28), Aaron informed Robert about Kev’s threats, causing concern. Later, Robert confronted Kev and tensions escalated again, only for Aaron to appear. However, Kev managed to maintain his composure, much to Robert’s relief.
With Kev making numerous enemies and revealing his true nature, viewers can’t help but predict his murder. However, in what could be a major twist for the ITV soap, they don’t believe Aaron will be the killer.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one individual posted: “Really can’t stand Robert’s husband!” Another user joined the conversation predicting that Aaron’s mum Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) might murder him.
They commented: “Get Chas to kill him.” A third added: “That’d be unexpected!”” Another opined: “Aaron would be too obvious. ” A fifth speculated: “If Kev does something bad to Aaron I can see Chas going after him.
“Earlier this month, Chris, who portrays Kev, discussed his character, stating: “It’s very complicated because Kev is unhinged. But there is some genuine feelings there, but they’re not quite what they should be.
“Ryan chimed in: “It’s unclear at this stage as well, what his feelings are. There’s this guy that turns up and says he’s his husband, but Robert is trying to actively pursue Aaron…. An absolute bombshell”.
