Emmerdale viewers are convinced Celia’s boss is a well-known villager after April fights for survival

Emmerdale viewers are convinced Celia Daniels is being controlled by a familiar villager as her drug operation takes a very dark turn.

Fans of the ITV soap will know, April Windsor, played by Amelia Flanagan, is currently involved in an ongoing storyline about County Lines drug dealing after being coerced into drug dealing by Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) and his mum Celia (Jaye Griffiths).

On Friday (October 17), a terrifying ordeal happened when April got ready for a meeting that Ray had set up between her and a client named Tim to deliver some drugs at a hotel.

While dropping April off at the location, manipulative Ray warned her that Tim would expect her to stick around in his hotel room after she had handed over his drugs. He told April: “I need this to go right, kid, reputation is everything.”

Teenager April arrived at Tim’s hotel room and handed him over a package of cocaine. He attempted to make small talk with the schoolgirl who looked terrified and eager to leave.

But Tim encouraged April to stay with him for a while, and it soon became clear that the villain had much more than a drug delivery on his mind.

He then tried to pressure April into trying some of the drugs with him, and when she declined and Tim said it would get her “in the mood”.

As creepy Tim went to sit near a frightened April on the bed, he called her “pretty” and touched her hair, saying: “Carrying a lot of tension in those shoulders though, love.”

After Tim attempted to give April a neck rub, she told him she’d changed her mind about doing drugs, so he got up to get them. She then made a run for it before later bumping into Celia.

The drugs boss explained she must do as she told in order to pay off her big debt after losing Ray’s drugs, which is all a ploy to get April on board with her criminal scheme.

Elsewhere, Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) opened up to her partner Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) about her own traumatic past. She revealed she was groomed into a world of drugs and sexual exploitation.

Drawing poignant parallels to April’s current predicament, Dawn recounted her past experiences and highlighted her unwavering commitment to protecting her daughter, Clemmie (Mabel Addison).

Joe was first reluctant to hear about Dawn’s harrowing past, but later reassured his girlfriend that he “loved her”.

However, Emmerdale fans are convinced Joe is the boss of the drugs ring run by Celia, as he had previously got the local farmer involved with one of his scams.

The businessman has also made no secret of his wealth and recently offered to fund Clemmie’s private education, amounting to £20,000 per term.

Taking to Facebook, one viewer wrote: “As Joe was controlling Celia, not so long ago, who else thinks he might be the mastermind behind the drugs ring?”

One person replied: “That would not surprise me one bit he has no scruples ..And he has to get his money from somewhere.”

A second predicted: “Absolutely and I think that will be the thing that ends him and Dawn. Her battle with drugs and it being around the kids x.”

A third pointed out: “Yes maybe that’s why Joe doesn’t want to know dawns past.”

“Nothing surprises me about him”, exclaimed one viewer as another wrote: “Ooooo yeah.”
