Emmerdale fans are convinced that a popular character will return to the Dales to get revenge on Kim Tate
Emmerdale’s Kim Tate could be reunited with an old nemesis after 18 years in a huge twist.
Viewers of the ITV soap will remember Claire King’s dramatic return to the Dales as Kim in 2018, reprising her role from 1989 to 1999.
Since her reappearance, Kim has been embroiled in several major plotlines, including the death of her husband, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), and the surprise return of her step-grandson, Joe (Ned Porteous).
Kim later started dating Joe’s shady doctor, Dr Crowley (James Hillier), who was after the Home Farm matriarch’s wealth, following Joe’s enlistment of the doctor for an unlawful kidney transplant.
The focus has recently shifted back to Home Farm, after an inappropriate photo of 10-year-old Clemmie Reed (Mabel Addison) was circulated in a school group chat, reports the Daily Star.

Carl Holliday (Charlie Joyce) was brought in for police questioning following the incident, which has had significant repercussions for the Tate and King families.
Now, numerous Emmerdale fans are convinced that Kim’s predicament will escalate when she encounters a familiar face.
A number of viewers are speculating that Lady Tara Thornfield (Anna Brecon) could make a return to the village, having last graced the screen in 2007.
Tara first appeared in the village as the fiancée of Lord Alex Oakwell (Rupam Maxwell), but she was oblivious to his ongoing affair with Kim.
In a bid to sabotage the wedding, Kim took Tara horse riding and urged her to attempt a dangerous jump over a fence.
Tara took a horrible fall, leaving her with a broken wrist and concussion, but to Kim’s disappointment, the ceremony still went ahead. The marriage proved short-lived, though, with Alex eventually fleeing abroad after killing Linda Fowler (Tonicha Jeronimo) in a car accident.
Whilst discussing Tara’s potential comeback, one fan posted on Reddit: “I absolutely LOVED Lady Tara. The height of snootiness. Cutting wit. Great comedy lines. She could bring out the best in Kim again.”
Another commented: “Yes! Tara would be a great return. There are a few returns they could do that are Kim-related, but Tara would certainly stir up trouble.”
A third remarked: “Tara was so great in Emmerdale. I hope she comes back and takes on Kim. We love a bit of Tate drama.”
A fourth viewer shared the opinion, saying: “Yes, I completely agree. I want to see feisty Kim again and Tara can defo bring that out of her. I would love this to happen.”
