Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas Dingle on the ITV soap, has introduced some ‘gorgeous’ new arrivals
Emmerdale legend Lucy Pargeter has thrilled fans after sharing news of “gorgeous” new arrivals.
The actress is most recognised for her portrayal of Chas Dingle on the ITV soap, having joined the cast back in 2002. It’s safe to say she quickly won over viewers and became a beloved character.
Throughout her tenure, the Woolpack landlady has been central to numerous major plotlines. From her string of unsuccessful romances in the village to a devastating cancer storyline, Chas’ journey in the Dales has been packed with emotional moments.
She was also caught up in the Valentine’s Day limousine disaster that claimed the lives of three residents – Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson).
In recent storylines, Chas has been supporting her partner Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) following his medical examinations for potential prostate cancer. Thankfully, the results were negative, bringing relief to both of them, reports the Daily Star.
Beyond her role on the long-running ITV drama, Lucy is a devoted mother to three daughters with her ex-partner Rudi Coleano. Her firstborn, Lola, arrived in 2005, and in April 2017, Lucy welcomed twin girls named Missy and Betsy.
Given Emmerdale’s loyal following, Lucy regularly shares glimpses of her personal life with her 32.1k Instagram followers. What’s more, she also appears to be an ambassador for North Star Pups – a company that rehomes Fluffy French Bulldogs – and she regularly shares photos and clips of the pooches across her social media platforms.
And last week, she sent fans into overdrive when she unveiled the newest arrivals. In a clip posted to her Instagram, Lucy was spotted showcasing the puppies whilst giving them cuddles.
Lucy’s devoted following went absolutely mad for the footage and flocked to the comments section to fawn over the canines.
One person commented: “Literally the cutest things ever they’re like little teddy bears.” Another wrote: “They’re gorgeous!”. A third remarked: “What a lovely dog.”
Sharing similar sentiments, someone else enthused: “Amazing video and so adorable puppies I hope they go to a loving family soon. Great business keep up the fabulous work.”
