Emmerdale fans are convinced that one villager will be leaving the ITV soap soon after noticing a telling sign
Emmerdale viewers have been left worried about one resident as they’ve failed to make an appearance in recent episodes of the ITV drama.
Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) has endured a particularly challenging year after his wife Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), and seems to be taking time away from all the turmoil in the Dales.
Determined to make a fresh start with her new partner, Dawn brought her marriage to a heartbroken Billy to an end, with him later discovering her betrayal through his daughter, Clemmie Reed (Mabel Addison).
Upon realising that Dawn continued to have feelings for Joe, despite his blackmail of Clemmie, Billy made threats to remove the children from the situation.

He has subsequently left Home Farm, and continues to have a strained relationship with his former wife and her current partner, reports the Daily Star.
Billy is also employed at Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) depot but hasn’t appeared in recent instalments at his place of work.
However, his disappearance has been noticed by Emmerdale fans, who are now questioning the character’s whereabouts.
Posting on Reddit, one person enquired: “Has Billy disappeared off the face of the earth… hasn’t been seen in months.”
Another responded: “I wouldn’t be surprised at an off-screen exit announcement soon.”
A third added: “He’s probably just trying to get away from Dawn, don’t blame him, to be fair, lol, she’s a lot to deal with.
“Not even mentioned anymore. You would think someone would say Where is Billy?” commented one viewer.
“Which is weird as we have seen a lot of the depot recently”, remarked another.
However, Billy makes his return to the ITV soap on Wednesday (October 8), where viewers will find him hard at work for Caleb at the depot, with Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) attempting to conduct shady transactions right under everyone’s noses.
When Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) informs Dylan that Billy will be the one driving to Hull for the job and Dylan will merely accompany him, Dylan frets over how he’ll manage Ray’s (Joe Abolom) drug delivery.
Upcoming scenes will also see Dawn growing increasingly close to her current partner Joe after confiding in him about her harrowing past. But could Billy still be lurking in the background?
