The aircraft landed at around 1.40pm
Emergency services were called to meet a flight arriving at Belfast City Airport on Friday afternoon. An eyewitness reported seeing a number of ambulances at the site.
They were called to meet an Aer Lingus aircraft, flight EI3643, arriving into the city from Birmingham Airport on October 3, at around 1.40pm.
The airline has confirmed that the flight landed without incident.

A spokesperson from Emerald Airlines, operator of Aer Lingus Regional, said: “Aer Lingus Regional flight EI3643, operated by Emerald Airlines, flying from Birmingham Airport to Belfast City Airport was met by emergency services as a precaution but landed without incident.”
