Primark’s “gorgeous” and “comfy” £18 heels are causing a stir among customers. The new Slingback Stiletto Heels, offered in burgundy, ecru, or black, became an instant hit with shoppers when they were showcased in a viral video.
Available in-store, the “insane” shoes were posted on TikTok by @jodialexanderr. She praised the heels in a post shared with her 80,000 followers. Jodi said: “New in Primark heels.” Her caption added: “Literally Zara quality heels!!! £18.” The video has since garnered over 400,000 views and 30,000 likes, reports the Daily Record.
Many shoppers compared the shoes to those offered by other popular brands. One fan commented: “It’s giving Saint Laurent.” Another wrote: “Looks so similar to the River Island ones.” The heels also received plenty of praise. A fashion fan wrote: “This is a need.” A different shopper said: “Oh wow I love these.” An excited customer agreed: “These are insane.”
A fan said: “GIRLLL I’m heading to Primark rn.” A similar reply read: “Yep getting these now.” Someone else said: “These are gorgeous, look so expensive and elegant!!” Jodi responded: “Right!!”
Not everyone was so pleased, though. Someone with mixed feedback claimed: “I have these! They hurt sooo bad but look sooo good.” A second suggested: “They are so uncomfortable.”
However, others praised the “comfy” heels. A fan said: “Can confirm they are soooo comfy too & also any marks you get on them, wipe off with acetone.” Jodi added: “Ohh fab I’ll be doing the acetone trick!! Can second that, they are comfyyy.”
