Italian collective DOGMA will make their long-awaited Australian debut this November, bringing their Time To Be Freetour to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
The five-piece – who cloak themselves in anonymity and theatrics – arrive on local shores off the back of a relentless year of European festivals and headline stages. With their upcoming 2026 run alongside Lord Of The Lost already inked, DOGMA are laying out their global intent one darkened venue at a time.
Framed by their manifesto, the band describe themselves as “five women united by their religion in chaos, horror and blasphemy.” Their statement of purpose rejects external forces such as politics and organised faith, urging audiences to resist repression and embrace individual freedoms of thought, speech, sexuality and self-expression. “We aim to eradicate the emptiness,” they declare, “which sends people on an endless quest for approval based on lies.”
For DOGMA, live performance is the vehicle where these ideals converge. The shows are equal parts ritual and confrontation, with the group’s visual language – masked figures, stark costuming and a stage steeped in shadow – amplifying their pointed philosophy.
November will mark the first chance for Australian audiences to witness DOGMA’s rallying call firsthand – a collision of heavy sound, spectacle, and an ideology built on rejecting ideology itself.
