Teen fighting for life after being stabbed up to 20 times

The victim was stabbed as many as 20 times at a licensed premises on Eden Quay in Dublin city centre

A teenager is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Dublin city centre.

The Irish Mirror reported that the teen was stabbed as many as 20 times at a licensed premises on Eden Quay at around 10pm last night.

The stabbing took place amid a row between a group of youths, sources say. Dublin Fire Brigade paramedics made efforts to save the young teen at the scene before he was rushed by ambulance to hospital.

Irish police have since commented on the incident: “Gardaí in Store Street are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault that occurred at a licensed premises at Eden Quay at around 10pm on Sunday, 21st of September 2025. A male juvenile [aged in his teens], was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where he is in critical condition.

“The scene was preserved and a technical examination has been completed. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident or who may have video footage to contact Store Street Garda Station on (01) 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
