Till Lindemann, frontman of Rammstein, is set to bring his solo project to Australia for the first time in January 2026. The Meine Welt tour begins in Brisbane on 15 January, with stops in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide before closing in Perth on 22 January.
While Rammstein’s live reputation is defined by fire, spectacle and sheer scale, Lindemann’s solo work points in a different direction. Recent releases — including 2024’s Meine Welt single and the Lynch-referencing Und die Engel singen — show a turn toward introspection and restraint, though flashes of provocation remain central to his output.
On stage, that balance between minimalism and chaos takes unpredictable shape. Reports from recent European shows describe pole-dancing keyboardists, cake-throwing and even fish cannons. In contrast, moments of stark stillness emerge in Lindemann’s setlists, creating tension between excess and reduction.
Support comes from Melbourne’s MéLANCOLIA, who since 2022 have carved out their place with a bleak, electronic-infused take on nu-metal. Their debut album HissThroughRottenTeeth and its 2025 follow-up random.access.misery mark them as one of the sharpest heavy acts to emerge from Australia in recent years.
The pairing sets up an Australian run that will test how Lindemann’s increasingly personal solo voice translates against the industrial ferocity that first made his name.
