Singer-songwriter Lana Crow has returned with ‘Live It’, a seven-track follow-up released just in time for summer. The album captures the highs and lows of life through heartfelt grooves, anthemic choruses, and striking sing-along ballads, blending guitar-pop, indie, and synth-pop into a collection that feels both intimate and expansive.
Described by Crow as a “sonic diary of a life being lived fully”, Live It navigates themes of love, heartbreak, and self-liberation, offering a soundtrack to both the chaos and calm of everyday existence.
“This album is a reflection of my personal journey, how I’ve grown, struggled, and learned along the way,” Crow explains. “Each song captures different phases of self-discovery, from embracing my flaws to confronting the world’s harsh realities. It’s a deeply personal exploration of life’s contradictions, its joys, its heartaches, and its lessons. Writing these songs was my way of processing my own growth and making sense of the world around me, hoping that others might find a piece of themselves in it too.”
Crow’s path to music was anything but straightforward. Born in Kazakhstan, her musical roots were planted early – her grandparents encouraged her to attend a musical preschool, where she began learning piano at just five years old. Despite her natural shyness, she blossomed creatively, though health issues later forced her to put her ambitions on hold.
It wasn’t until after marrying and starting a family that Crow reignited her passion for songwriting. Two years of private studio work culminated in her 2022 debut I Will, which marked her arrival as a fresh and emotional voice in the indie-pop scene. Now, with Live It, Crow builds on that momentum, aiming to make her mark on 2025 with a record that feels as personal as it does universal.
