Emmerdale fans have been left fearing for Vinny Dingle as he opens up to new pal Mike after connecting online
Emmerdale’s Vinny Dingle (played by Bradley Johnson) has been sharing his deepest secrets with new pal Mike (Macaulay Cooper), whom he met online, but fans think they have worked out his true identity as concern grows.
In recent episodes of the ITV show, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) has been planning her wedding to Vinny, but the groom-to-be is questioning his sexuality after trying to kiss Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).
Vinny turned to the internet to try to make sense of his crisis and began chatting with a man named Mike before the pair met in person. As their bond grows stronger, Vinny is comforted by Mike’s support, especially as his awkward crush on Kammy lingers.

In forthcoming Emmerdale episodes, Gabby spends the night away at a spa, and Mike shows up on Vinny’s doorstep to reveal his wife has kicked him out.
While Gabby visits Charles (Kevin Mathurin) and plans a wedding surprise for her hubby-to-be, Vinny tries to support Mike.
When his new friend alludes to their simmering attraction, Vinny denies having any feelings toward Mike, and then things turn really nasty.
Emmerdale fans are now suggesting Mike is the real John Sugden, as the mystery surrounding the character’s backstory remains despite living in the village since last year.
As the current John (Oliver Farnworth) is a killer, viewers are also convinced Mike is a dangerous man.

Taking to X, one person wrote: “I wonder if this Mike that Vinny is talking to is the real John Sugden? #Emmerdale.”
A second warned: “#Emmerdale Oh dear…. getting bad vibes off this bloke……be careful Vinny.”
Referring to John, another added: “Since he is living soon and can’t a divorce for a year be easy if he isn’t the real John or he dies #Emmerdale #Robron.”
“It would be a brilliant twist if as well as being a murderer he wasn’t even John Sugden,” added another.
