EastEnders is set to air more drama for the Slater family next week when Stacey’s past comes back to haunt her.
Next week, the Slater household is buzzing with anticipation as Stacey (Lacey Turner) gears up for Lily’s (Lillia Turner) return to Walford after her departure in May.
EastEnders enthusiasts will recall that teenage mum Lily was grappling with the devastating loss of her adoptive dad Martin Fowler (James Bye), who tragically died following an explosion at The Vic in February.
In addition to dealing with her grief, Lily was overwhelmed by the responsibility of managing the household and caring for her siblings while Stacey was also mourning.
Tensions between mother and daughter escalate following another outburst from Stacey after she misplaced her mobile phone containing messages to Martin.

The argument reached a climax when Stacey accidentally elbowed Lily. Despite her attempts to apologise, it wasn’t sufficient, leading Lily to decide to visit her biological father, Ryan.
Although they seemed to make amends before Lily’s departure, she advised her mother to “sort herself out” before her return. However, it seems Lily’s homecoming won’t be without its challenges.
In the upcoming episodes of EastEnders, Stacey eagerly prepares for Lily’s return, but her joy is short-lived as she receives devastating news.
Jean (Gillian Wright) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) reveal that someone has leaked her SecretCam photos and videos on the internet, reports Plymouth Live.
Convinced that rebellious teenager Joel Marshall (Max Murray) is responsible, Stacey confronts him, but his father Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) quickly takes him home.
Back at No. 43, Joel hands his laptop over to Ross for inspection and manages to persuade his father that he’s not at fault. Later on, Stacey reports Joel to the police.
In another part of town, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) grows suspicious when pregnant Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) make excuses to slip away together, oblivious to their plans to visit a clinic.
Stacey attempts to convince Suki to be truthful with Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and Priya (Sophie Khan Levy), leading her to return home and reveal that Avani is expecting and intends to bring up the child herself.
Suki finds herself in the firing line as Priya and Ravi vent their anger, feeling the ripple effects of Avani’s termination throughout the family.
Meanwhile, Joel discovers about Avani’s termination and is upset that he wasn’t consulted.
But when Stacey receives an update from the police about the result of their investigation, will Joel finally face the music?
And amidst all the Slater drama, will Lily make a comeback?
