Coronation Street viewers believe that George Shuttleworth will be left homeless as a new family “move into Number 11”.

Scaffolder Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) made his debut on the cobbles in March, where he swiftly struck up a bond with Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce).

It subsequently emerged that Theo was married to a woman named Danielle (Natalie Anderson), with the couple sharing two children, Miles (Lewis William Magee) and Millie (Kaitlyn Earley).

Danielle was livid when she discovered Theo and Todd’s romance, and promptly cut her husband off from the rest of his family.

Theo then confided in Todd about his struggles with his sexuality, following his religious parents forcing him to undergo conversion therapy during his youth, reports Leicestershire Live.

Theo was recently reunited with Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor), who had previously carried out conversion therapy on him.

After a furious row, Todd assaulted Noah at the community centre last week, before discovering that he was romantically involved with Danielle.

Todd then turned up at the Bistro to inform Theo, who was enjoying a reasonably amicable lunch with Danielle and their children.

Todd’s appearance swiftly ruined the gathering, which concluded with Theo hitting his son, Miles, after he lashed out at his partner.

Theo’s aggression eventually prompted Danielle to prevent her former husband from having contact with their children.

During Monday’s (August 4) episode, an enthusiastic Todd informed Theo that the corner shop flat was available for rent, with George (Tony Maudsley) subsequently confessing that he’ll be sad to see Todd go when he relocates.

Several Coronation Street viewers are now convinced that once Todd vacates Number 11, George might be left homeless, potentially paving the way for Danielle to move in alongside Noah and the children.

“Does anyone get the feeling they’re getting ready to move new people into Eileen’s house and use it as an excuse for a refurb?” one person wrote on Reddit.

Another added: “I bet Danielle and the kids move in just to further Theo’s confusing erratic behaviour.”

A third said: “Ooo I could totally see Danielle moving in, it would drive Theo mad!” with a fourth person sharing: “Hopefully George won’t end up without somewhere to live.”

Coronation Street airs at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
