Discussing the unexpected plot development, Bradley revealed to journalists: “When I first got told it was a complete shock to me as I had no idea that was the avenue they were going to go down with Vinny.”
He added: “I didn’t have clue it was going to be a big as what it’s going to be but it’s a story I’m excited to tell and I think it’s going to be shocking and emotional for the audience to watch.”, reports Leeds Live.
Bradley teased: “We got some really exciting stuff coming up. There is a lot more to come with Vinny finding who he is as a person and it’s really exciting.”
As Vinny embarks on a journey of self-discovery, he turns to the internet for guidance on his sexuality, leading to an encounter with the enigmatic ‘Mike’, played by Maculay Cooper.
The duo’s connection deepens, and as Mike inquires about Vinny’s sexuality, Vinny finds himself grappling with how to define it. He is nonetheless reassured by Mike’s supportive stance, which promises to help him navigate his feelings.
Later, Mike turns up at Vinny’s place, sharing that he’s been thrown out by his partner. While there’s a hint of mutual attraction, Vinny’s fear is palpable when ‘Mike’ unexpectedly becomes aggressive towards him.
Discussing the intense upcoming scenes, Bradley said: “It was really hard. I’ve been playing Vinny for the past six years and he’s been through a lot.”
He continued, “As soon as you think he’s building himself back up to this confident character, someone comes and just knocks him straight back down.”
With Gabby having left her phone behind, the question remains whether she will arrive in time to rescue her future husband from the clutches of the unscrupulous Mike.
