The fifth celebrity to leave the I’m A Celebrity jungle has been named just as camp tensions flared over Kelly Brook’s sweet gate revelation

I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec have announced which celebrity has been given the boot from the ITV jungle spectacular.

During Wednesday’s (December 3) instalment, the Geordie presenting pair made their way back to camp to deliver the crushing news that Ruby Wax had received the fewest public votes and would be departing the Australian wilderness immediately.

The performer’s jungle journey has reached its conclusion after finding herself in the dreaded bottom two with Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley.

Before making her exit, the star was showered with encouragement from her devastated fellow contestants, who expressed their dismay at her elimination.

Ruby becomes the fifth celebrity to bid farewell to I’m A Celeb, following in the footsteps of Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi, Vogue Williams and Kelly Brook, reports the Express.

After her emotional farewells, she sat down with Ant and Dec to reflect on her time in the camp. In her departure chat, Ruby revealed she could “totally forget” the outside world, describing her fellow campmates as her “family”.

Earlier in the programme, fans witnessed the camp’s shocked response to Kelly Brook’s explosive revelation before her own departure, as she finally exposed the truth behind ‘sweet gate’.

The former model caused chaos as she used her final moments to rat out her fellow sweet thieves Aitch and Angry Ginge. Just as she left, she decided to finally come clean about secretly eating half of the sweets from a challenge days prior.

“There were more than 10 milk bottles, bye,” she trilled as she walked out. The realisation dawned on Jack Osbourne’s face as well as their fellow campmates, who where far from impressed.

Ginge attempted damage control by claiming there were 13 sweets, and Kelly ate the first of the extra three, suggesting that he and Aitch only ate one extra sweet each.

Yet viewers are well aware that the trio divided 10 sweets amongst themselves, with the scheme being Aitch’s idea.

Shona appeared furious as she addressed the camera: “Remember when I ate the butter? Do you remember how many people were coming for me? Do you remember Kelly coming for me?”

Jack subsequently informed the other campmates about what is going on in camp. Aitch persisted with the deception, whilst Ginge declared “Kelly’s to blame for that”.

When Ant and Dec revealed the truth about the sweets during Ruby’s departure interview, she was taken aback by Aitch and Ginge’s conduct. She subsequently pledged to “punish” the duo upon their next encounter.
