Emmerdale fans are convinced they know what happens next to Aaron Dingle after he was pushed off a cliff by John Sugden in explosive scenes
Emmerdale viewers are left on tenterhooks, fearing that Aaron Dingle (portrayed by Danny Miller) may suffer from amnesia after being dragged off a cliff by his spouse John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).
John, the sinister paramedic who made his entrance into the Dales last year as Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) estranged half-brother, has not only murdered Nate Robinson but also cunningly pinned the crime on his troubled patient Owen.
Moreover, John has kept Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) captive in an underground bunker since shooting him with a bow and arrow several weeks ago.
Upon discovering that Aaron and Robert have been intimate, John drugged his husband Aaron in an attempt to isolate him at their rural cottage.

During the explosive episode of the ITV soap on Monday (8th September), Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) sensed something amiss with his half-brother John and embarked on a mission to locate his former spouse Aaron.
Meanwhile, at John’s country retreat, Aaron played along with his caring façade before seizing the opportunity to escape and search for Mack, reports the Daily Star.
Robert encountered John in the forest, leading to a physical altercation that left Robert unconscious on the ground.
As John fled the scene, he checked to ensure Robert was still alive before setting off to find Aaron, with the pair eventually reuniting near a gorge’s edge.
Aaron, still disoriented from the effects of John’s drugging, remembered the hatch he had discovered in the woods and confirmed hearing Mack’s voice as he confronted John about his deeds.
The mechanic was seen begging Mack to explain his actions as Robert made an unexpected appearance on the scene.
John was visibly shaken by Robert’s arrival, while Aaron tried to maintain his composure and urged John to admit his crimes to the police, including Nate’s murder. John agreed to contact the police but instead of confessing, he implicated Robert.
In a shocking turn of events, Robert suddenly seized Aaron from behind and pulled him over the cliff edge, leaving Robert in a state of panic as he called out for Aaron.
Emmerdale fans are now speculating that Aaron will have survived the fall from the cliff, but upon regaining consciousness, he will have no recollection of the entire incident, rendering him unable to expose John’s crimes.
One viewer took to Facebook to speculate: “So what if Aaron forgets everything from the fall and he has no memory of anything.”
Another added: “If Aaron forgets everything that means they might close the story down making us keep watching for another year until Aaron remembers.”
A third chimed in with their prediction: “Reckon that’s what will happen. Aaron will just get a bit of bruising [like Caleb when he was pushed off a cliff or Chloe when her car rolled down a hillside] quickly recover but won’t remember a thing.”
“To all of the people on my timeline speculating about Aaron having amnesia: PLEASE STOP, I can’t cope,” one person pleaded on X.
“Aaron definitely will have amnesia cause only he knows every single thing John did. I like it #emmerdale,” another confidently stated.
